While the world recently experienced the largest backslide in routine immunization in 30 years, the Western North region of Ghana saw a significant increase in its childhood vaccination rates. By centralizing its stocks at Zipline’s cold stores in Sefwi Wiawso and supplying vaccines on-demand to any dosing site, the region protected itself from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic that caused millions of children to fall behind on their vaccine schedules. In this webinar, Zipline will present the model used by the Western North region to achieve such significant health gains, the broader findings of its impact study that was recently published in the peer-reviewed journal Vaccines, and its latest examination of the cost-effectiveness of this intervention.
